If you are serious about getting your website to rank in the top ten of major search engines, here’s what you have to do:
1. You MUST do proper keyword research to make sure your keywords will actually make you money. This is where most people fail to make money… they simply pick keywords that are too competitive, or have zero profit value.
2. KEYWORDS make you money. Not websites. You MUST target specific keywords. This means, at the very least, making an individual webpage or blog post for each keyword, and setting the title of that new page as the keyword. Other on-page SEO optimization is good but not really necessary. Throw in a H1 tag around your keyword once, write your keyword in the main content 3 or 4 times, and bold 1 or 2 using the <strong> tag. Sprinkle some related keywords in the text, and you’re done.
3. You MUST get backlinks to your page, both with and without the keyword as the anchor text. IP Diversity is key. Don’t get all your links from the same IP. This is so important it’s not even funny. The best way to get different IPs pointing at your site is to use Web 2.0 properties to build links on.
Don’t just use the keyword as the same anchor text over and over; use your site url, and sometimes even “Click Here” to make things look natural.
